New Data Says These Are The MOST Nostalgic Snacks. What Do Think?

A recent study conducted by Spin Genie has revealed the top 10 most-searched nostalgic snacks, proving that people are still yearning for flavors and treats from their childhood. From cereals to sodas, these snacks hold a deep sense of nostalgia for many individuals.

At the top of the list is Dunkaroos, a beloved snack that features cookies and a separate compartment for delicious frosting or icing. After being discontinued for a period of time, Dunkaroos made a comeback in 2020, much to the delight of fans.

Coming in at second place is Oreo Cakesters, a softer version of the classic cookie with frosting in the middle. These were also discontinued, but were brought back by Nabisco in 2022 after a 10-year absence from store shelves.

Third on the list are Bagel Bites, bite-sized bagels topped with cheese and pepperoni, making them the perfect after-school snack. Unlike some of the other snacks on this list, Bagel Bites can still be found on store shelves today.

In fourth place is Tab soda, the first-ever diet soda on the market in the 1960s. However, with the rise of other diet soda options like Diet Coke, Tab’s popularity declined, leading to its discontinuation in 2020.

Fruitopia, a fruity alternative to soda, takes the fifth spot on the list. Although no longer available in the United States, some flavors have been revamped and released under Minute Maid.

Sixth on the list is Crystal Pepsi, a clear version of the classic soda that was released in the early ’90s. Like some others on this list, it has been discontinued but has had a limited run in recent years.

Kudos granola bars, coated in chocolate or caramel, come in at number seven. These bars were quietly discontinued in 2017, much to the disappointment of their fans.

The odd but memorable Orbitz drinks take the eighth spot on the list. These unique drinks contained edible balls floating in the liquid and were only available for a short time in the 1990s.

In ninth place is Waffle Crisp cereal, a breakfast option from Post Consumer Brands that features waffle-shaped pieces with a hint of maple syrup. The cereal was discontinued in 2018 but made a comeback for a limited run in 2021.

Last but certainly not least is Rice Krispies cereal, a versatile snack that can be enjoyed with milk for breakfast or combined with melted marshmallows and butter to make delicious homemade treats.

With its many uses, it’s no surprise that this cereal holds a special place in the hearts of many and takes the tenth spot on the list. As the saying goes, “You can’t have nostalgia without some Oreo Cakesters and Bagel Bites.”
