Fox News Meteorologist Bravely Intervenes But Pays The Price with Severe Injuries

In a shocking incident that occurred early Sunday morning, 37-year-old Fox News weatherman Adam Klotz was savagely assaulted by a group of teens on a Manhattan subway train.

Klotz was reportedly trying to defend an older gentleman who was being harassed by the teens.

“I was like, ‘Yo, guys, cut that out.’ And they decided, ‘All right if he’s not going to get it, you’re going to get it.’ And boy did they give it to me,” Klotz said. “They had me on the ground. My ribs are all bruised up, too. They got their hits in.”

The teenagers managed to escape the train after beating up Klotz, but three of them were later apprehended by police—two 15-year-olds and a 17-year-old.

However, despite being taken into custody, all three were released without facing charges. According to the NYPD, this was due to the fact that the crime was a misdemeanor and the suspects were too young to be charged as adults.

“Juvenile reports were prepared, and their parents were called to pick them up,” a rep for the NYPD said Sunday.

Klotz, who was taken to the Bellevue Hospital to get treatment for his non-life-threatening injuries, posted an Instagram video describing the incident. He was seen with two black eyes, and other bruises on his body.

Klotz joked, “You should see the other guy.” He laughed and then said, “My side — don’t laugh — my side is so much worse than my face. And the thing is the other guy is not really a guy. It’s children. Five or six children.

Klotz expressed his shock over the teen’s complete lack of regard for the law and their parent’s lack of oversight. “Where are the parents?” he asked. “Parents, watch your children.”

The incident has sparked an outcry in the community, with many citizens expressing outrage over the teen’s release without facing charges. The “Raise the Age” law in New York, which took effect in 2019 and raised the age for a youngster to be charged as an adult from 17 to 18, has been the subject of much criticism.
