Jeremy Renner is finally home from the hospital after he recently suffered a severe snowplowing accident that left him with more than 30 broken bones. Despite the extreme pain and trauma, Renner is determined to move forward and heal.

Renner was snowplowing on a private road near Reno, Nevada, on New Year’s Day when he was crushed by a snowcat vehicle. He was rushed to the hospital and underwent surgery for blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries. Thankfully, the actor is back home from the hospital and is on the mend.

Spawned from tragedy for my entire family, and quickly focused into uniting actionable love ❤️ I want to thank EVERYONE for their messages and thoughtfulness for my family and I …. Much love and appreciation to you all. These 30 plus broken bones will mend , grow stronger, just like the love and bond with family and friends deepens . Love and blessings to you all ????❤️????.”

Renner’s friend and fellow Avenger, Chris Evans, responded to the update with a light-hearted comment. He wrote, “That’s one tough mf’er. Has anyone even checked on the snowcat???” referring to the vehicle involved in Renner’s accident.

“Sending so much love,” Evans concluded, adding a single red heart emoji.

Renner responded with his signature humor, writing back, “Love you brother…. I did check on the snow cat, she needs fuel.”
