‘Everybody Loves Raymond’ Actor Has Life-Threatening Health Crisis!

Beloved actor and comedian Ray Romano recently opened up about a very scary experience he went through and shared details of the procedure he underwent to prevent a potential heart attack.

In an interview with Marc Maron on his WTF with Marc Maron podcast, Ray Romano revealed that he was informed by his doctor that he was at risk of a “widowmaker” heart attack due to a 90 percent blocked artery in his heart. This news would be terrifying for anyone, especially someone in their 60s like Romano.

Romano shared that he had a stent put in to prevent the heart attack from happening, and he considered himself lucky that the issue was caught before it was too late. This revelation comes just a few weeks after he first sought medical attention for chest pains while directing and acting in the film, Somewhere in Queens.

Romano shared with Entertainment Tonight that he called his agent at one in the morning because he couldn’t sleep due to chest pains. He eventually saw a cardiologist in New York, where he underwent a stress test on a treadmill. It was through this test that the 90 percent blockage in his heart was discovered.

“I had to have a stent put in,” Ray said on the WTF with Marc Maron podcast. “I got kinda lucky that we found it before having a heart attack.”

Romano’s experience is a powerful reminder that heart health is incredibly important and should never be taken lightly. Chest pains can be a warning sign of a heart attack, and it’s crucial to seek medical attention if you experience them.

It’s also important to note that heart disease can affect anyone, regardless of age or lifestyle. Regular check-ups with a doctor and living a healthy lifestyle, such as exercising regularly and eating a balanced diet, can help reduce the risk of heart disease.

We’re relieved to hear that Ray Romano is doing well after his procedure and is taking his health seriously. We wish him all the best and hope that his story can serve as a reminder to everyone to prioritize their heart health.

That’s all for now! Until next time, keep your hearts healthy and keep reading for more celebrity news and other tidbits!
