The zoo is bringing back its popular fundraiser, Cry Me a Cockroach, where individuals can symbolically name a cockroach after their ex. For only $10, the zoo will feed the named roach to one of its animals, giving people a chance to make a statement about their past relationships. For $15, people can purchase a poop-scented candle that captures the scent of the zoo’s hippo, Timothy. Our Cry Me a Cockroach fundraiser was a hit last year, and we wanted to bring it back. And the poop-scented candle is just a silly and fun item for those who have a good sense of humor.”
