A Frontier Airlines flight from Florida to Philadelphia turned into a chaotic scene when a female passenger attempted to relieve herself in the aisle mid-flight. The incident, which was captured on video by a fellow traveler, has since gone viral on social media.
The woman, who has not been identified publicly, first gained attention when she appeared to be pulling down her pants while squatting in the aisle of the plane. She can be heard saying “Sorry, everybody” before attempting to use the bathroom in the aisle.
According to the video, the woman was told by a flight attendant that she could not use the restroom at that time. This prompted her to try and use the aisle instead, much to the shock and disgust of her fellow passengers. As those around her protested, the woman yelled back at them, using profane language and even threatening to kill another passenger.
The situation escalated when a fellow passenger, Julie Voshell Hartman, told the woman to sit down. The woman reportedly responded by threatening Hartman before eventually pulling her pants back up and demanding to be let into the plane’s restroom.

Hartman, who recorded the incident on her phone, later shared the video on Facebook with a caption detailing the ordeal. She expressed shock and disappointment at the woman’s behavior, stating that she had a front row seat to the spectacle.
Frontier Airlines has not yet commented on the incident, but it has sparked outrage on social media with many calling for the woman to be identified and banned from flying again. It is currently unclear if any actions have been taken against the woman.
This is not the first time a Frontier Airlines flight has made headlines for an incident involving a disruptive passenger. In June, a different Frontier Airlines flight was diverted when a passenger attempted to open an exit door mid-flight. The airline has since been criticized for not having stricter policies in place to handle such situations.
