Joe, often recognized as a loving and doting father, was seen carrying his three-year-old daughter, Willa, while another woman held his second daughter, identified in court papers as D., who is 14 months old. Throughout the breakfast, Jonas entertained his kids by making funny faces and playfully interacting with his food.
One noteworthy observation was Joe Jonas not wearing his wedding ring, despite having posted an Instagram photo earlier in the week that featured the ring on his finger. This public outing with his daughters marked a significant moment for the musician following the recent divorce filing.
A source close to the couple revealed that Joe has been caring for their children this summer while Sophie Turner has been away for work commitments, filming on location. The source stated, “She has been shooting, which is why the kids have been with Joe. It’s just been easier because she’s been working for the kids to be with him because there’s some more support at home and on the road with his family. It’s something they both agreed was best.”
On Tuesday, Joe Jonas officially filed for a dissolution of his marriage to Sophie Turner after four years together. Court documents obtained by PEOPLE confirm that the filing asserts “the marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken.” Notably, the documents also confirmed the presence of a prenuptial agreement and plans for a co-parenting arrangement.
