John Lennons Son Has Emergency Surgery

Julian Lennon, son of the iconic John Lennon, has revealed a troubling health update—his second battle with skin cancer.

The 60-year-old singer-songwriter took to social media to share his story, urging fans to prioritize their health and get regular checkups.

In a heartfelt post on X (formerly Twitter), Julian recounted his journey. While preparing for a series of events in New York, including appearances on “Good Morning America” and book signings, he received an urgent call from his Los Angeles dermatologist, Dr. Tess, who had previously saved his life by identifying and treating a cancerous mole.

This time, two new spots—one on his shoulder and another on his forearm—were cause for concern, with one confirmed as melanoma.

Instead of returning home to relax for the holidays, Julian rerouted his plans and flew back to Los Angeles for emergency surgery.

The operation was a grueling procedure, requiring the removal of the cancerous areas with large margins to ensure all traces were gone.

While the surgery was deemed a success, Julian awaits biopsy results to confirm whether he is cancer-free—a waiting game that could extend past Christmas.

In his post, Julian emphasized the importance of vigilance and regular medical checkups, saying, “It only takes a short while to do so, and you may just be saving your own life.” He encouraged others to prioritize their health, sharing his love for life and determination to live fully.

This isn’t Julian’s first encounter with skin cancer. Back in 2020, his dermatologist discovered a malignant mole on his head, which was swiftly removed. Reflecting on that experience, he described the emotional rollercoaster of fear and gratitude, calling it a stark reminder that time is precious.

Julian’s vulnerability and advocacy for early detection highlight a vital message: regular health screenings can make all the difference. As he continues to wait for the all-clear, his resilience serves as an inspiring reminder to take proactive steps toward personal well-being.
