Ah, Christmas. That magical time of year when families come together to enjoy each other’s company, exchange gifts, and eat too much food. This year, the holiday festivities looked a bit different for Tom Brady and his family. After filing for divorce from Gisele Bündchen in October, Tom and Gisele are making sure their children, Vivian Lake, Benjamin Rein, and John “Jack” Edward, still have a special holiday.
Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen are co-parenting their children after their split and have come up with a unique plan to make sure the kids are still able to celebrate the holidays. Vivian and Benjamin spent Christmas in Brazil with Gisele, participating in all kinds of fun activities like horseback riding, biking, fishing, singing karaoke, and playing with animals.
Back in the US, Tom Brady celebrated Christmas with his kids two days after the holiday. On Tuesday, Brady shared some sweet photos from his celebration with his kids on his Instagram Story. The photos showed the Brady kids cuddling in front of the Christmas tree, wearing festive holiday socks, and hanging stockings for their pets.
It’s heartwarming to see Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen come together to make sure their children still have a special Christmas despite their divorce. Tom has even opened up about the split on his show Let’s Go! with Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray, saying he’s “really focused” on his children. He also shared that the situation is amicable and that his children will have “full access to both [parents], whenever they want.”
Though the NFL quarterback marked his first Christmas game on Sunday and is navigating this new familial setup, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers faced the Arizona Cardinals and won 19-16.
Divorce can be a difficult and uncertain time for families, but it’s wonderful to see Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen work together to make sure their children’s holiday is still special. We hope the Brady family has a wonderful holiday season and a happy New Year!
