In a lighthearted Instagram Story posted on Saturday, Brittany hilariously called out Patrick for his less-than-precise attempt to help take down her styled locks.
The pregnant Kansas City Current co-owner, both 29, showed off the aftermath of Patrick’s efforts: a pile of clear rubber bands tangled with strands of her blonde hair.
Brittany, clearly amused, captioned the video with several laughing emojis, prodding the pile of elastics as she jokingly asked, “Does anyone else’s husband go to take their hair out and thinks he can just pull these right out of your hair? ’Cause, yeah, mine did that last night.”
While the incident may not have been Patrick’s finest moment off the field, it’s all part of the dynamic between the longtime couple, who have been together since their teenage years.
