The Metro Nashville Police Department was quick to acknowledge Bon Jovi’s selfless act, sharing the story on social media. “A shout out to @jonbonjovi & his team for helping a woman on the Seigenthaler Ped Bridge Tue night,” they posted on X (formerly Twitter). “Bon Jovi helped persuade her to come off the ledge over the Cumberland River to safety.”
The department also shared a video showing Bon Jovi and another individual helping the woman to safety, a powerful reminder of the importance of stepping in during moments of crisis.
