Iconic Actress, 82 Still Riding A Harley

Ann-Margret, the legendary actress known for her roles in iconic films like “Bye Bye Birdie” and “Viva Las Vegas,” is still living life in the fast lane at the age of 82. She recently attended the Women’s Image Network’s 25th Women’s Image Awards in Beverly Hills and shared one secret to her youthful energy – a Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

The actress proudly revealed that her bike is a unique lavender color and is covered in white daisies. She also admitted that she has always had a love for speed, but not the kind that comes in a pill. This statement shows that despite her age, Ann-Margret still has a fearless and adventurous spirit.

Born Ann-Margret Olsson in Sweden in 1941, she moved to the United States as a child. Growing up, she took dance lessons and performed at nightclubs while also pursuing her education during the day.

She credits her father for inspiring her love for motorcycles, as he owned a few himself. She fondly remembers riding on the back of his bike with him when she was only 10 years old.

Ann-Margret’s parents were supportive of her dreams and gave her their blessings when she announced her desire to enter show business. Her big break came when she was discovered by comedian George Burns and given a spot in his Las Vegas show. From there, she quickly became a top box office star.
