Ladies and gentlemen, we’ve got quite the story from the world of country music! The home of country superstar Carrie Underwood in Tennessee caught fire on Sunday night, with four people and three pets inside the main residence. The good news? Everyone, including the pets, is safe and sound.
Carrie’s representative, Brad Cafarelli, confirmed to Fox News Digital that the fire on the property was quickly contained. “There was no fire damage to the primary residence, and the family and their pets were unharmed,” Cafarelli assured. Now, that’s a relief, isn’t it?
The Williamson County Fire and Rescue responded to the call at Underwood’s home at 9:40 p.m. on June 16. The fire department’s Instagram account even shared some photos from the scene, showing firefighters in action. Captain Dinah Wade provided more details, revealing that the fire started in a UTV parked near the garage. The flames spread to the garage, but thanks to the swift action of the firefighters, it was contained before reaching the main house.
Now, this is where it gets interesting! Carrie Underwood had installed a 10,000-gallon water reservoir on the property, which turned out to be a lifesaver. Captain Wade explained that this reservoir provided firefighters with a ready supply of water to extinguish the fire. Talk about being prepared!
All the occupants and firefighters were unharmed, which is fantastic news. The family’s three dogs were also safe, with two relocated to another family member’s home during the fire. The third dog, showing loyalty and bravery, stayed by the homeowners’ sides and even made friends with the firefighters!
Carrie Underwood, who married Mike Fisher in 2010, shares two sons, Isaiah and Jacob, with her husband. Despite the fire incident, Carrie remains focused on her career. She’s currently performing shows throughout the summer, with her next “Carrie Underwood – Live in Concert” show set for June 21 in Canandaigua, New York.
Just recently, Carrie showed her resilience and dedication to her fans during a performance at the Carolina Country Music Fest in Myrtle Beach. Despite performing in a torrential downpour, she powered through, even after slipping and falling in her high-heeled boots.
She had just finished her rendition of “Welcome To The Jungle” by Guns N’ Roses when the rain started, but she didn’t let that stop her. Carrie went on to perform her hit single “Before He Cheats” as the rain poured down, much to the delight of her loyal fans.
Carrie shared the moment on her social media, writing, “We won’t let a little rain stop us! We won’t let a massive downpour stop us, either!” Fans praised her for continuing the show, calling her a “real performer” and commending her never-quit attitude.
So, while the fire at her home was undoubtedly a scare, Carrie Underwood continues to shine on stage and show her indomitable spirit. Keep rocking, Carrie!
